The fortified church of Măieruş was built in the 14th-15th centuries and was surrounded by fortifications with a height of about 6-8 m, of which only remains fragments. After a disaster, the church and the bell tower were destroyed and rebuilt in Gothic style in 1573. The interior of the church is eclectic, combining several architectural styles: Gothic, Classical, Neoclassic, Baroque and Renaissance. The altar at the beginning of the sec. XIX is neoclassical and is unity with the organ. The pavement is built and is a baroque wooden canopy. The chalice was made in the middle of the 16th century.
