Between 2 and 23 August 2018, Octavian Machidon participated in a short staff exchange at the Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. There, he worked alongside Aleš Tavčar and Miha Mlakar, supervised by prof. Matjaž Gams. The main objectives of this staff exchange were:
- to work on improving the existing infrastructure hosting the web applications and services supporting the natural language conversational agent providing information about European cultural heritage
- to further develop the article describing the natural language conversational agent with knowledge from Europeana in order to send it to a Journal for review and publication
- to identify together potential calls for research grants in order for the partners to jointly apply for future funding and to built upon the eHeritage experience and momentum
